StackFaro can be browsed without creating an account. We collect only the information needed to operate the site, understand how it is used, manage subscriptions and respond to partnership inquiries.

Browser storage

Your theme preference and saved resources may be stored in your browser using local storage so those features work across visits. StackFaro does not create a persistent first-party visitor identifier for analytics.

Usage analytics

StackFaro records limited first-party events such as use of the Smart Finder, filters, favorites, outbound resource clicks and Partner Pick clicks. These records contain small contextual properties such as the selected category or partner and are used for aggregate product and commercial performance analysis.

The production site may also use Plausible Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement. Plausible is kept separate from the first-party event store used for product and commercial performance analysis.

Newsletter subscriptions

Newsletter signups may be paused while the email service is being prepared. When enabled, signing up will require an unchecked consent checkbox and an email confirmation step. Until you confirm the link sent to your address, you should not receive marketing briefings.

StackFaro may retain a limited local record of your signup request, consent, source and request time. That record is not proof of a confirmed subscription. When the service is activated, the email address is sent to Brevo for its double-opt-in confirmation flow. Brevo holds the confirmed mailing list and manages unsubscribe requests from its campaigns.

You can browse the resource index without joining the newsletter. For privacy or data-protection requests, contact privacy@stackfaro.com. Final operator details and the retention schedule will be published before full public launch.

Partnership inquiries

Partnership inquiries are currently handled through partners@stackfaro.com rather than a public database-backed form. Information you include in an email is used to evaluate and respond to the partnership request.

Partner and affiliate links

Some Partner Pick links may become affiliate links. When a commercial relationship exists, it is disclosed. Referral parameters may be added to a link so a partner or affiliate network can attribute a visit or purchase to StackFaro.

Data handling

Administrative endpoints are access-controlled, the revenue console is excluded from indexing, and production responses use security headers and no-cache rules for administrative pages. Personal data is not required to use the curated index itself.

Retention and requests

Subscription and sponsor records are retained only while they are needed for the purpose for which they were collected and for legitimate operational or legal requirements. Privacy and data-protection requests can be sent to privacy@stackfaro.com.
